Role and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for helping to plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments. Candidates should demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Accountable for the quality of own work, delivered within agreed procedures and timeframes. Works independently within defined parameters, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge. Makes recommendations for process improvements to immediate manager.
• Responsible for software design and coding, developing applications per written specifications.
• Responsible for software testing and debugging.
• Responsible for participating in project planning sessions wth team members to analyze development requirements.
• Responsible for translating technical requirements into application code and modules.
• Responsible for making modifications to existing software applications and modules.
• Responsible for unit testing.
• Responsible for providing accurate work estimates and aiding in the preparation of status updates for projects.
• Responsible for producing technical documentation, which may include basic design specifications.

• 3+ years of work experience in the QA software testing role working with full-lifecycle software development teams
